Vice President Procurement (m/w)

Location: Bratislava

 

For a leading telecommunication customer we are looking for a VP Procurement. In this role you will be responsible for the international Procure-to-Pay Process.

Tasks

  • Lead organizational unit with 3 direct functional reports leading teams and covering 200+ specialists
  • Actively manage different transformations in employee development, acquire new business, organizational requirements and location concepts of the international part of the Service Line P2P
  • Take responsibility for understanding international client/stakeholder requirements
  • Operationally manage daily business and critical situations across service-line and solve escalations to provide seamless operation and effective service to clients
  • Continuously improve processes and services for international customers
  • Manage International Service Line Procure-to-Pay in close collaboration with different business partners
  • Ensure strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting of P2P International
  • Define, plan and execute the digitalization roadmap of P2P international – implement digital efficiency and quality improvements
  • Monitoring and Analyzing of international P2P performance vs. Budget
  • Actively steer capacity of the assigned unit in terms of optimizing the operations in order to guarantee quality of results, SLA fulfillment and operational excellence

Profile

  • Finished your study at university, ideally with a focus on procurement, purchasing financial, logistic economics /business administration
  • More than 5 years’ experience in a leadership position in an international environment as a Head of Procurement or in a similar field
  • Several experiences in managing large projects and large groups
  • Project management experience, ideally certified
  • Comprehensive procurement and accounting know-how and broad body of knowledge in leadership and personnel development
  • Excellent knowledge in digitalization strategy and its implications for the service portfolios of internal shared services
  • Excellent knowledge of change management processed
  • Good knowledge of the ICT sector
  • Good knowledge of Shared Service Center
  • intercultural experience, strong service behavior and diplomatic skills
  • international willingness to travel on a frequent basis 15-30%
  • Fluent in English; German and Slovakian would be a benefit
