The selected candidate for this role will become an integral part of our existing field applications engineering team based in the USA, responsible for delivering technical solutions at both the design-in and post-sales stages of the customer relationship. They will play a pivotal role in helping customers maximize the performance capabilities of GNSS, short-range, and cellular wireless products. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to embrace and explore new products and concepts.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing support to Automotive Tier One and OEM customers throughout the design-in and post-sales phases, utilizing u-blox GNSS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cellular LTE modules and chips.
- Collaborating closely with the sales team to seize new business opportunities.
- Resolving technical issues in customer products.
- Conducting technical training sessions for existing and potential customers.
- Conducting GNSS drive testing and analyzing new products.
- Crafting application notes and contributing articles to industry publications.
- Offering valuable technical market feedback to R&D and Product Management at our headquarters.
- Gaining an understanding of customer design architectures and competitive offerings.
- Collaboratively prioritizing support issues with the responsible Regional Sales Manager.
- Ensuring the maintenance of laboratory infrastructure to facilitate hands-on technical responsibilities.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Eligibility to work in the US for any employer.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mixed-signal (RF/Digital/Analog) hardware design support.
- Knowledge of wireless communication systems, encompassing WiFi, Bluetooth, and LTE.
- Ideally, prior experience with GNSS, RF design, and embedded software development.
- General software proficiency is considered an additional asset.
- Exceptional communication and management skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to national and international destinations.
