Our client is seeking a visionary and experienced Director of ADAS to lead their dynamic team and propel their level 3+ ADAS solutions to new heights.

Position Overview: As the Director of ADAS, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and enhancement of the client's advanced driver assistance systems. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of automotive safety and autonomy, driving their technology roadmap, and ensuring the successful delivery of ADAS solutions that exceed industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers to develop innovative ADAS features and functionalities.
  • Drive the strategic vision and roadmap for ADAS technology, considering industry trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineering, product management, and vehicle integration to ensure seamless integration of ADAS solutions into our products.
  • Oversee the research and development of new algorithms, sensors, and software architectures to enhance the performance and capabilities of generational ADAS capabilities.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with external stakeholders including suppliers, research institutions, and regulatory bodies to stay at the forefront of ADAS technology and industry standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure the successful execution of ADAS projects within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the ADAS team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree or PhD preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in automotive engineering, with a focus on ADAS or autonomous driving systems.
  • Proven track record of leadership in developing and delivering ADAS solutions from concept to production.
  • Deep technical expertise in areas such as sensor fusion, computer vision, machine learning, and sensor hardware.
  • Strong understanding of automotive safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for pushing the boundaries of innovation in automotive technology.
