Senior Engineer - EHS, Facilities, and Maintenance

Chandler, AZ (Companywide role - Atlanta & Chandler)

Reports to: Site Operations Manager

Essential Duties
- Oversee companywide Key Performance Areas (KPA) and administer the Safety Always Program (SAP) under the Operating System (OpS) Umbrella.
- Manage safety training and assist in investigating near misses, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing corrective actions.
- Own programs such as LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), Ergonomics, JHA (Job Hazard Analysis), and good spotting.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections, supporting Operations department.
- Provide feedback on safety and maintenance aspects for improvement projects.
- Lead the Management of Change Program to review all changes for safety and maintenance risks.
- Ensure compliance with SEMI safety standards for tools.
- Assist in Facilities projects, including quoting, procurement, and project management.
- Collaborate with building lessor and contractors for expansion projects and EHS procedures.
- Lead contractors in adhering to the Safety Always Program during projects.
- Aid Operations and Engineering Teams in equipment selection, installation, and maintenance.
- Work with Tool Owners to mitigate ergonomic risks in product design.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans and procedures.
- Assist Tool Owners in managing spare parts inventory and ensuring equipment reliability.
- Prepare reports for KPI reporting in operational and staff meetings.

**Required & Preferred Key Competencies:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering.
- Three or more years of experience in Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Facilities, or Program Management roles.
- Basic knowledge of reading electrical schematic and 2D AutoCAD drawings.
- Experience with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 audits preferred.
- Familiarity with SEMI S2, S1, S8, NFPA79, EN60204 standards.
- Knowledge of OSHA and ADEQ laws and regulations.
- Experience with ERP/MES systems.
- Basic understanding of the semiconductor industry is preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Analytical mindset with root cause analysis skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with good time management skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
