Job Description: As a Clinical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and monitoring of clinical trials within the Ophthalmology space. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the successful delivery of high-quality clinical projects, adhering to timelines, budgetary constraints, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning, implementation, and tracking of clinical trials in Ophthalmology, from initiation to closeout.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and clinical sites to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and successful completion of clinical studies.
- Monitor and report on the progress of clinical trials, identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues that may impact study timelines or objectives.
- Work closely with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and review of study protocols, informed consent forms, and other essential study documents.
- Participate in the selection and management of CROs, clinical sites, and other vendors involved in the clinical trial process.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline; advanced degree (MSc, PhD, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Clinical Project Manager in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a focus on Ophthalmology.
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, execution, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in managing CROs and external vendors.
- Familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
