Account Technologist – Semiconductor Capital Equipment
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a global semiconductor equipment manufacturer, for a senior Account Technologist supporting a major US customer account.
This role combines technical expertise, customer engagement and strategic account development, acting as the key technical link between the customer, sales teams and internal business units.
Key Responsibilities

Own technical relationships with customer process integration, module and R&D teams.

Understand customer technology roadmaps and identify opportunities for new applications.

Develop and present technical proposals and value propositions.

Lead customer evaluations through to tool-of-record decisions.

Represent customer requirements internally and influence product roadmaps.

Coordinate cross-functional engineering, applications and product teams.

Support competitive analysis, joint development programmes and account strategy.
About You
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or a related field.

7+ years' semiconductor industry experience across process, integration, device or equipment applications.

Strong understanding of CMOS or memory integration and semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Proven ability to build relationships with customer engineering teams and senior stakeholders.

Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.

Ability to influence cross-functional teams and work independently.

Willingness to travel 20–50% domestically and internationally.

US work authorisation without sponsorship.
Desirable
-
MS or PhD in a relevant discipline.

Semiconductor equipment or materials supplier experience.

Exposure to leading-edge logic or advanced memory.

Experience managing customer evaluations or joint development programmes.
