We are partnering with a leading global technology company to recruit a Director / General Manager for their European operations. This is a strategic leadership role with full P&L accountability, responsible for driving growth, building market presence, and leading sales and service operations across Europe.

The Role
The Director / General Manager – Europe will establish and grow the company’s European business, ensuring operational excellence and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role includes legal responsibility for the European entity and represents a key opportunity to influence strategy and expansion in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the European business strategy in alignment with global objectives.

• Lead and manage regional sales, service, and operational teams.

• Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.

• Establish and manage the European legal entity, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

• Manage P&L, budgeting, and financial reporting for the region.

• Drive brand presence, market growth, and identify new business opportunities.

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.

Candidate Profile

• Senior leadership experience in the semiconductor, electronics equipment, or high-tech manufacturing sector.

• Strong commercial acumen and operational management experience.

• Proven track record in sales, service management, and team leadership.

• Experience establishing and running legal entities in Europe, preferably in Germany or the Netherlands.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.

• Fluency in English required; German or Dutch strongly preferred.

Location
Ideally based in Germany or the Netherlands, with regular travel across Europe and occasional global travel.
