Senior Analog Design Engineer | MRL Consulting

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global semiconductor design company for a Senior Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Lead. This is a strategic technical leadership role, providing the opportunity to mentor a growing offshore design team while driving cutting-edge high-speed analog design projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the offshore Analog Design Team.

• Lead projects from specifications through to final GDS implementation.

• Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering technical excellence across the team.

• Conduct quarterly visits to the offshore site to enable close in-person collaboration, with the option to transition into a remote leadership role thereafter.

Key Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in high-speed analog/mixed-signal design (PHY, SERDES, UCIe, PCIe, etc.).

• Deep expertise in PLLs, equalization, high-speed TX/RX, and clock distribution.

• Proven experience on advanced semiconductor nodes (5nm, 3nm, 2nm preferred).

• Proficiency with Synopsys tools (Custom Compiler, HSPICE, FineSim, etc.); previous Synopsys experience is a strong advantage.

• Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring engineers.

• Excellent teamwork, communication, and multitasking abilities.

Location & Relocation

• Candidates based in South Asia or South East Asia are preferred.

• Must be willing to travel quarterly to the offshore site, transitioning into a remote leadership role thereafter.
