We’re seeking an experienced Senior Memory Buyer to join a global technology distributor at the forefront of the electronic components industry. This role offers the chance to influence sourcing strategy and procurement for one of the most critical product categories — memory devices — supporting customers across sectors such as automotive, communications, computing, and industrial electronics.

You’ll work with a world-class supplier network, leading negotiations, and ensuring a stable, cost-effective supply chain in a rapidly changing global market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the procurement process for memory products — including NAND, DRAM, NOR Flash, and storage modules.

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and lead times across global supply chains.

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, identifying new partners and evaluating performance to ensure reliability and compliance.

  • Negotiate commercial terms and framework agreements with both franchised and open-market suppliers.

  • Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and inventory cycles within the global memory ecosystem.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and logistics to ensure supply aligns with customer demand.

  • Analyze and mitigate supply risks, leveraging market data to support forecasting and purchasing decisions.

  • Drive cost optimization initiatives through data-driven analysis and strategic purchasing practices.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, commodity management, or sourcing within the semiconductor or electronic components industry.

  • Strong knowledge of memory components and their supply chain dynamics.

  • Proven success in negotiating supplier agreements and managing relationships with key manufacturers or distributors.

  • Excellent analytical, commercial, and communication skills.

  • Fluent in English (Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage).

  • Based in China or Singapore, with flexibility to engage across regional and global teams.

Why This Role?

  • Opportunity to work with leading global suppliers and top-tier technology brands.

  • Play a pivotal role in securing mission-critical memory components for cutting-edge applications.

  • Join a dynamic, forward-thinking organization where performance and innovation are recognized and rewarded.

  • Competitive compensation and the chance to grow within a global procurement structure.

If you’re a commercially minded buyer with deep knowledge of the memory market and a passion for building strategic supply networks, this is an opportunity to shape the future of electronic component sourcing.
