Are you a proven sales professional within the electronic components industry, with a strong customer network across the DACH region? We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across key aerospace and defence accounts for a rapidly expanding international distributor.
About the Role
In this high-impact position, you will be responsible for developing new business and expanding existing customer relationships within the aerospace, defence, industrial, and high-reliability sectors. You will leverage your knowledge of the electronic components market—ideally gained within a broker or franchise distribution environment—to identify opportunities, deliver value-driven solutions, and build long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities

Drive sales growth across the DACH region with a focus on aerospace & defence programmes.

Develop, nurture, and expand a strong customer base, managing both new and existing accounts.

Source and supply electronic components through both franchise and open-market channels.

Identify opportunities in shortage, allocation, and excess inventory markets.

Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements.

Collaborate with internal procurement, operations, and global sourcing teams to deliver competitive solutions.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts and activity reporting.
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in electronic component sales within a broker or franchise distribution environment.

A strong, active network of customers in the aerospace and defence sector across the DACH region.

Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and account management skills.

Deep understanding of the components supply chain, market trends, and quality requirements.

Self-driven, commercially minded, and capable of working autonomously in a remote field-based role.

Fluent German; strong English communication skills preferred.
