Buyer - Electronic Components

A global distributor and solutions provider in the electronic components industry is seeking a skilled and commercially driven Buyer to join its international sourcing team.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in the open market / broker space who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. You’ll play a vital part in securing critical electronic components for customers worldwide, leveraging your supplier network and market insight to deliver the best possible commercial outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Source and purchase electronic components from approved global suppliers, brokers, and open-market partners.

• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery terms to meet customer and company objectives.

• Monitor market conditions, availability, and pricing trends to make informed buying decisions.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and competitive supply chain.

• Collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to align sourcing with customer requirements and project timelines.

• Identify risk and opportunities within the supply chain to support business growth and mitigate shortages.

• Ensure compliance with internal quality and procurement procedures, maintaining integrity in all transactions.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in electronic components procurement, preferably within a broker or independent distributor environment.

• Strong knowledge of semiconductors, passives, and memory components, with familiarity across multiple product lines.

• Proven ability to negotiate and manage supplier relationships in a competitive, global market.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Taiwanese is highly desirable.

• Self-motivated, results-focused, and capable of working independently in a remote setup.

• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
