Why this role exists
The Senior Account Manager will play a critical role in expanding and strengthening the company’s APAC customer base, managing a portfolio of Tier 1 and Tier 2 EMS / OEM accounts. This role is ideal for a seasoned inside sales or hybrid account manager who excels at building long-term customer relationships, driving consistent GP, and navigating complex supply chain requirements in a fast-moving market.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Growth

Own and manage a portfolio of existing EMS and OEM customer accounts across APAC, serving as the primary commercial point of contact.

Develop strategic account plans to grow revenue, GP, and share of wallet within existing customers.

Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across semiconductors, passives, interconnects, and related component categories.

Maintain strong engagement with procurement, supply chain, and operations stakeholders to support ongoing and forecasted demand.
Sales Execution

Execute the full sales cycle from opportunity qualification through pricing, negotiation, and order placement.

Deliver tailored sourcing and supply solutions based on lead-time constraints, market conditions, and customer application needs.

Collaborate closely with internal purchasing, quality, operations, and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM discipline.
Customer Engagement

Conduct regular customer outreach via calls, email, and virtual meetings to support projects and demand planning.

Periodically visit customer sites in Singapore and across the APAC region to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.

Act as a trusted advisor, providing market intelligence, availability insights, and alternative sourcing strategies.
Team Collaboration & Market Feedback

Work closely with Business Development and digital platform teams to align customer strategies and initiatives.

Provide real-time market feedback on pricing trends, lead times, and customer demand to inform business decisions.

Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance sales culture.
Required Experience & Skills

5+ years of experience in account management, inside sales, or customer-facing sales roles within the electronic components industry.

Strong exposure to EMS, CM, and OEM customer environments (Tier 1 experience highly preferred).

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and GP targets.

Solid understanding of electronic component categories and supply chain dynamics.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.

Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools.
-
Willingness to travel occasionally within APAC.
