We are recruiting on behalf of a leading technology services organisation for an experienced Vice President of Business Development to lead global go-to-market strategy within the data centre hardware integration sector. This pivotal role will drive growth across pre-deployment hardware services, including server assembly, component installation, and rack integration for hyperscalers, OEMs, and enterprise clients undertaking large-scale infrastructure projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the global sales strategy for data centre hardware integration and related services.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key strategic customers, including data centre operators, OEMs, and systems integrators.

  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams to design tailored service solutions and commercial proposals.

  • Lead the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and negotiation through to contract completion and handover.

  • Manage sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance metrics to ensure consistent delivery of growth targets.

  • Stay abreast of industry developments, including trends in data centre design, rack density, and hardware configuration.

Service Scope Includes:

  • Server and storage component installation (CPU, RAM, NICs, etc.)

  • Chassis population and validation to customer specifications

  • Rack integration, cabling, and layout per design requirements

  • Labelling, asset tagging, documentation, and packaging for shipment or deployment


Key Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience within data centre infrastructure or hardware integration services.

  • Proven success selling to hyperscalers, OEMs, or large enterprise customers.

  • Strong understanding of server hardware, rack design, and deployment processes.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to build, develop, and inspire high-performing sales teams.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Willingness to travel globally as required.
