Account Manager – Electronic Components

Taiwan (Remote)

We are partnering with a global organisation in the electronic components supply chain to recruit an Account Manager based in Taiwan to develop and grow business across the local market.

This role will focus on building strong customer relationships and identifying commercial opportunities within the independent electronic components distribution sector. The successful candidate will work closely with regional sales leadership and cross-functional teams to drive both supply and demand opportunities, supporting customers with component shortages and excess inventory solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in electronic components sales or distribution who enjoys working in a fast-paced and relationship-driven environment.


The Role

As Account Manager, you will:

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers across the electronics industry
• Understand client business needs and deliver tailored component sourcing solutions
• Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the electronic components market
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and gross profit targets
• Work closely with regional sales leadership and business development teams to expand accounts

Market & Product Expertise

• Maintain strong knowledge of electronic components and market trends
• Provide customers with insights around availability, pricing, and supply chain dynamics
• Support clients with solutions for component shortages and excess inventory

Negotiation & Contract Management

• Negotiate pricing, agreements, and commercial terms with customers
• Manage contract renewals and address any contractual matters that arise
• Work with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and processes

Internal Collaboration

• Work closely with sourcing, logistics, quality, finance, and customer support teams
• Coordinate internally to ensure efficient order fulfilment and customer support
• Escalate and resolve operational challenges to ensure smooth service delivery

Market Intelligence & Reporting

• Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends and competitive activity
• Provide market feedback and insights to support business strategy
• Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports for management


What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of sales experience within the electronic components distribution industry
• Strong understanding of the electronics components supply chain
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities


Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Highly motivated with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced commercial environment
