We are recruiting on behalf of a leading technology consultancy specialising in low-code and AI-powered solutions. The Business Analyst (BA) will play a key role in bridging business needs and technology solutions, working within Agile delivery teams to ensure software and AI features deliver measurable business value while adhering to ethical and governance standards.

The Role
The BA will capture, analyse, and translate business and AI requirements into functional and technical specifications for OutSystems development. You will collaborate closely with Solution Architects, AI specialists, and development teams to define solutions that are compliant, explainable, and aligned with responsible AI principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and interviews to capture business goals, AI opportunities, and functional requirements.

  • Document user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and AI use cases aligned with Agile development.

  • Translate requirements into structured, testable specifications for OutSystems and AI-enabled workflows.

  • Support prototyping, proof-of-concept stages, and ethical design of AI features.

  • Participate in sprint ceremonies, acting as the voice of the customer and ensuring deliverables meet business intent.

  • Communicate complex AI concepts in business-friendly terms and act as liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Maintain documentation of AI use cases, data sources, ethical impact assessments, and model traceability.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and professional development within AI and low-code domains.

Skills & Experience
Essential:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in Agile or low-code environments.

  • Knowledge of OutSystems and its AI capabilities.

  • Understanding of AI fundamentals, including machine learning, NLP, and automation.

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Familiarity with data protection and AI ethics principles (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act).

Desirable:

  • Certified OutSystems Associate or Specialist.

  • Experience with AI-assisted delivery tools or intelligent automation.

  • Exposure to AI governance frameworks (ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF).

  • Experience in AI prompt engineering, use-case scoping, or model lifecycle documentation.
