This role is fully remote, requiring a home office as a base. Travel away from home may account for up to 60% of the time.


Job Description:

A leading company in the energy storage sector is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead their sales and marketing efforts in Germany. This field-based role requires extensive travel across the sales region, to the UK headquarters, and internationally. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for market development, lead generation, sales funnel management, and achieving sales quotas for the region.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Map the market across the sales region, providing actionable insights.
  • Segment potential users and identify areas of focus for product launches.
  • Identify key marketing opportunities, such as tradeshows and conferences.
  • Develop a goto-market plan for the regional launch of the innovative energy storage system.
  • Take ownership of material localization and translation where appropriate.
  • Conduct early market development work to introduce a new product into the region.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline for the region.
  • Achieve regional targets for revenue and margin.
  • Advise customers on decarbonization solutions.
  • Provide handson product training and support with product setup and installation.
  • Offer feedback on product performance and applications, as well as market developments.
  • Develop annual plans and targets for the business in collaboration with the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Profile:
 
  • Experience in the power rental sector within the region, either as a vendor or supplier.
  • Experience with capital sales and product marketing.
  • Technical education in power, engineering, or an electrical discipline.
  • Significant knowledge of CRM and sales pipeline management.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
