Join a leading industrial automation team dedicated to optimising manufacturing processes. They're hiring a Controls Engineer with expertise in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to drive efficiency in production.
Position Overview:
As a Controls Engineer, you'll design, program, and troubleshoot control systems to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement control strategies using PLCs and HMIs.
- Program PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi) using ladder logic or structured text.
- Collaborate with teams to define control system requirements.
- Support installation, commissioning, and start-up of control systems.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, Master’s preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in controls engineering, focusing on PLC programming.
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages and HMI software.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
