Join a dynamic Global Automation Services team, where they deliver value-driven services to customers worldwide. Seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong individual to join the team. This role offers remote work.

As a Technical Project Manager, you'll guide projects from purchase order receipt to completion, ensuring they meet customer expectations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage project execution within budget and schedule constraints.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, monitor, and control projects from order receipt to service delivery.
  • Lead multi-disciplined project teams to execute projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Serve as the key customer contact, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
  • Manage project risks through assessment, identification, and mitigation.
  • Develop budgets, oversee project schedules, and manage project resources.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Conduct team meetings, mentor employees, and foster a team environment.
  • Act as the primary after-sales customer advocate, handling machine-related issues and customer concerns.
  • Ensure project compliance with contractual and engineering specifications.
  • Set and maintain departmental goals and key performance indicators.


Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in a technical or lean manufacturing practice.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in customer service management and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Practical knowledge of robots, PLCs, instrumentation, sensors, and pneumatics.
  • Preferred experience in industrial automation manufacturing environments with a focus on After Market & Sales.
  • Experience with Service Project Kick-Off meetings and Project Execution Planning.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
  • Fluent in English, written and oral; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and CRM software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers under pressure.
  • Experience managing budgets, financial forecasting, and estimating labour and material costs.
