Job Description:
As a System-on-Chip (SoC) Architect, you will play a crucial role in defining and designing complex SoCs compliant with the latest safety and reliability standards in the automotive and industrial sectors.
Missions:
- Collaborate with diverse architecture teams to devise comprehensive SoC platform architectures tailored to specific product categories or scalable technological solutions across various product types and levels.
- Develop architecture specifications encompassing detailed system-level use-case definitions, hardware/software division, compliance with ISO26262 standards, and relevant KPIs.
- Engage closely with design and execution teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure seamless integration of the solution into commercial products.
- Draft specifications for both internal and third-party IP, contribute to make vs. buy assessments, and identify suitable IP solutions.
Profile:
- Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Possess expertise in designing or architecting complex SoCs in advanced process nodes featuring multiple independent compute environments.
- Proficiency in one or more technical areas such as interconnect design, DDR memories, power management, networking, debug, boot, virtualization, and multimedia processing.
- Familiarity with ISO26262 compliant and mixed-criticality architectures is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of ARM architecture specifications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with software architects to optimize hardwaresoftware partitioning at the system level.
- Demonstrated track record in evaluating performance, power, and area tradeoffs to achieve optimal product balance.
- Experience in defining IP components to address system level challenges.
