SUMMARY:
My client has a rapidly expanding Power Management division that specializes in Power Loss Protection, PMICs, Motor Control, and Battery Management solutions catering to a diverse array of Mobile, Consumer, IoT, and Industrial applications. We seek an adept Analog Power Design Engineer to pioneer next-generation, world-class designs in power management solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
My client has a rapidly expanding Power Management division that specializes in Power Loss Protection, PMICs, Motor Control, and Battery Management solutions catering to a diverse array of Mobile, Consumer, IoT, and Industrial applications. We seek an adept Analog Power Design Engineer to pioneer next-generation, world-class designs in power management solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with internal system engineers, analog designers, and digital designers in the US and Asia to validate world-class analog power management ICs.
- Ensure seamless communication and coordination between teams in Asia and the US throughout the IC verification process.
- Develop simulation-based test verification strategies, test benches, and test cases, and troubleshoot analog/digital design issues in collaboration with test and characterization engineers.
- Spearhead analog mixed-signal design verification planning, methodological enhancements, and best practice implementation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging verification methodologies to augment the overall verification process.
- Craft and validate System Verilog (or equivalent) models, test benches, and automated verification simulations for mixed-signal circuit blocks.
- Collaborate closely with system, analog, and digital teams to comprehend and validate system and sub-system functions and specifications.
- Leverage power management expertise, encompassing LDO, buck converter, boost converter, etc., to verify the performance and functionality of analog mixed-signal IC designs.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with the design team to address issues uncovered during verification.
- Document verification activities, including test plans, procedures, and reports, ensuring traceability and knowledge dissemination.
- Aid Validation and Test engineers in debugging designs in the lab and test platform for mass production as required.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a specialization in analog/mixed-signal circuit design and/or verification.
- Demonstrated expertise of 10+ years in power management verification, encompassing LDO, buck converter, boost converter, etc.
- Profound proficiency in SystemVerilog and Verilog-AMS for analog mixed-signal circuit verification.
- Proven track record in developing and executing verification plans, test benches, and test cases.
- Competency in chip-level and subsystem-level modeling and simulation for analog mixed-signal circuits.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills pertaining to analog circuit behavior, noise, mismatch, and non-linear effects.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to liaise with cross-functional teams situated in Asia and the US.
- Meticulous attention to detail and adeptness in prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.
