What if you could escape the rat race of a free-for-all sales environment, and specialise in your own niche within the industry, building long-term client relationships in collaboration with trusted colleagues?
 
I'm seeking a Sales Associate for a major player in the Independent Broker space with experience working with commodity components such as CPU and Memory.
 
Your role
 
  • You'll be in contact with new and existing customers to sell commodity electronic components such as CPUs and Memory. You will build extensive networks with customers in verticals such as datacenters, cloud, AI, networking, edge computing, and more.
  • You'll build long-term relationships with customers within your niche, to regenerate business and sell products sourced by your own dedicated procurement specialist.
  • You'll receive leads from colleagues within the business to develop your niche market, with the prospect to develop your business within the United States and in the international market.
 
What we need from you
 
  • Experience within the independent distribution / broker space for electronic components is essential - ideally 4+ years.
  • Experience selling commodities such as CPU and Memory.
  • Ideally having a strong network and customer base with relationships with relevant purchasers, so that you can start your new role in a strong position, and demonstrate your reputation within the market.
  • Although not a requirement, a candidate with experience working with AI customers would be of particular interest to our client.
  • Personality is very important to our client - they are looking for people they can trust, who can work with a collaborative - rather than competitive - relationship with colleagues.
  • United States citizenship and to be based in any location within the USA.
