About the opportunity

Does technology that can be applied to make people’s lives better interest you? If the answer to these questions is yes, we need people like you to join our growing Solutions team. The team has global coverage, dealing with all things technical in our commercial end of the business and there is lots for us to do.
Day to day, you’ll:
  • Articulate and demonstrate the benefits and values of our solutions to clients, partners and all internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with our clients, partners, commercial and product teams to collect, analyse and clarify business and technical requirements for complex transit deployments that need to integrate with our SDK and APIs
  • Contribute to technical sales proposals, presentations, partnership agreements and other solutions collateral required to support the closure of a deal
  • Create and communicate statements of work, solution descriptions, business requirements, integration plans and success criteria to efficiently deliver business.
  • Help to identify gaps in our portfolio and build our growing partner network to address those gaps or communicate requirements to feed into the product roadmap
  • Identify transit customer and industry trends and contribute to ideas for product development and innovation

Requirements

Ideally, you’ll have:
  • 5+ years relevant work experience since completing an undergraduate degree in computing science, software engineering, business and IT or similar
  • Retail or transit payments experience (essential)
  • 3+ years of experience in either a:
    • Pre-sales technical role such as Sales Engineer, Technical Pre-Sales Consultancy, Solutions Consultancy or Business Analysis
    • Management Consultancy role as an Associate, Analyst or Consultant working on projects that involve multi-supplier technical solutions, preferably with exposure to the transport and/or payments industries
  • Demonstrable skills to communicate complex technical ideas and industry trends effectively to different audiences in both verbal and written format
  • Proven ability to drive an independent workstream as part of wider team goals and initiatives
  • Experience in responding to bid and tenders as part of a formal procurement process
  • The ability to help technical stakeholders to integrate with APIs and SDKs, with a keen understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns
  • Entrepreneurial DNA - you get things done, are flexible to changes, eager to learn, resilient to failure, and persistent to make an impact
  • A proven ability to analyse customer business and technical requirements and to successfully construct and communicate the optimal solution to all stakeholders
  • Experience with SaaS, API driven technology solutions and third party integrations
