The Role
As a Senior Field Application Engineer, you will provide technical support to major OEM customers and distribution partners, helping deliver high-performance RF solutions and driving customer success across the Korean market.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to key customers in mobile broadband and multi-market sectors across OEM accounts and distribution channels.
- Work closely with development teams to evaluate new device performance against customer-specific technical requirements.
- Design, demonstrate, tune, and optimise RF power solutions using LDMOS and GaN technologies.
- Manage technical relationships with customer engineering, development, and sourcing teams.
- Support product quality investigations, explaining technical reports and complaint resolutions.
- Drive marketing activities including seminars, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Gather market feedback and provide recommendations for new product introductions.
- Travel approximately 30%, both domestically and internationally.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience using RF laboratory equipment and measurement techniques.
- Proven experience designing high-power RF circuits for power amplifier applications.
- Strong knowledge of modelling techniques for non-linear systems and familiarity with simulation tools.
- Understanding of wireless communication technologies such as GSM, W-CDMA, LTE, and related standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and team-oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.
