Account Manager – China

We are partnering with a global specialist in semiconductor lifecycle and supply chain solutions to recruit an Account Manager covering Asia.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional within electronic components or semiconductor distribution to take ownership of strategic customer relationships and help solve some of the industry’s most critical supply chain challenges.

The role focuses on supporting procurement teams facing component lifecycle issues, including hard-to-find, discontinued, last-time-buy (LTB), end-of-life (EOL), and obsolete components.

You will work closely with OEMs, EMS providers, and manufacturers across sectors such as aerospace, defence, industrial, medical, and electronics manufacturing, helping them maintain production continuity and mitigate supply risk.


The Role

As Account Manager, you will:

• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy focused on component lifecycle and obsolescence solutions across Asia
• Build long-term relationships with procurement, supply chain, and engineering teams at OEMs and EMS providers
• Act as a trusted advisor by identifying risks linked to EOL, obsolete, and allocation-driven components
• Support customers with last-time-buy planning and inventory risk mitigation strategies
• Identify and close new business opportunities linked to component shortages and redesign avoidance
• Work with global sourcing teams to locate and secure hard-to-find semiconductor inventory
• Provide market intelligence on availability, pricing trends, and lifecycle status
• Negotiate pricing and supply agreements for time-sensitive and high-value component requirements
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate forecasting through CRM tools
• Help customers mitigate production downtime through rapid sourcing solutions


What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in semiconductor distribution, electronic components, or supply chain solutions
• Strong experience supporting procurement teams with hard-to-find, obsolete, or EOL components
• Solid understanding of semiconductor lifecycle stages (LTB, EOL, obsolescence)
• Experience selling into OEMs, EMS providers, or electronics manufacturers
• Established network within Asia-based procurement or supply chain teams is highly advantageous
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, time-sensitive sourcing situations
