Senior SoC Verification Engineer – Montreal, QC

We’re recruiting on behalf of an innovative semiconductor client developing advanced SoCs for AI, audio, and connectivity-driven applications. They are seeking a Senior SoC Verification Engineer to lead functional verification from test planning to tape-out and post-silicon support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute verification plans for SoC architecture and functionality

• Build scalable verification infrastructure, testbenches, and reusable components

• Drive coverage closure, simulation debug, and issue resolution with design teams

• Develop regression strategies, tools, and automation scripts

• Support post-silicon validation and mentor junior engineers

What You’ll Bring:

• MS + 8 years or PhD + 3 years in EE, CE, or CS

• Strong skills in SystemVerilog, UVM/OVM, assertions, and scripting (Python, Perl, etc.)

• Experience with AMBA protocols (APB/AHB/AXI), MIPI, RISC-V or ARM cores

• Proficient in RTL and gate-level verification flows

• Familiarity with C/C++, SystemC, and ISA-level verification

• Able to thrive in a startup setting and lead technical efforts

Bonus Experience:

• AI/ML accelerators, GPUs, ISPs, or DSPs

• Mixed-signal and high-speed I/O verification (PCIe, DDR)
