Assistant Controller
Location: Rehovot, Israel – Hybrid
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Assistant Controller to join an international finance organisation supporting a growing and complex business environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CPA with a strong professional services background to move into an in-house finance position and gain broad exposure to financial reporting, group accounting, international operations and corporate controls.
You will work closely with the wider Finance team and play an important role in maintaining accurate financial information, supporting reporting cycles and contributing to ongoing improvements across finance processes.
Key Responsibilities

Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting in line with applicable accounting standards.

Assist with group and international consolidation activities, including coordination of financial information from overseas entities.

Support local tax, statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.

Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of financial controls and compliance processes.

Prepare supporting documentation, reconciliations and audit working papers as required.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting and reporting matters.

Assist with finance-related projects, process improvements and other ad-hoc initiatives.

Help ensure financial information is accurate, complete and delivered within agreed reporting deadlines.
Requirements

Qualified CPA – mandatory.

Previous experience gained within a major international accounting or professional services firm.

Strong audit experience within the technology / high-tech sector – mandatory.

Solid understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.

Excellent professional English, both written and verbal – mandatory.

Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, data analysis and manipulation – mandatory.

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Comfortable working to tight deadlines within a fast-moving international environment.

Able to manage competing priorities and maintain a high standard of work during periods of significant workload.
