Business Development Manager – Northeast USA (Remote)
Travel Requirement: Up to 30%, including international travel
Compensation: Competitive base + bonus + full benefits package
We’re supporting a global technology-focused distributor in their search for an experienced Business Development Manager to support continued growth across the AMER region. This is a remote role with plenty of autonomy, aimed at individuals who are natural relationship builders and commercial thinkers.
The successful candidate will focus on identifying and nurturing new customer relationships, while supporting long-term account development strategies. You’ll represent a comprehensive service offering rather than a single product, working across industries where quality, speed, and partnership are key.
Your Role:

Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy tailored to your territory

Build new customer relationships and grow existing ones

Operate as a strategic partner to clients—understanding their business challenges and offering relevant solutions

Represent the business at customer sites and industry events (with regular domestic and occasional international travel)

Collaborate with marketing, operations, and sales teams to ensure seamless customer engagement
What You’ll Bring:

Strong background in electronic component sales or distribution

Deep understanding of quality control and testing in the electronics industry

Experience working independently and managing a remote territory

Skilled communicator—comfortable presenting at all levels, from procurement to C-suite

Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems and structured sales methodologies (training on specifics can be provided)

A valid driver’s license and passport for travel purposes
