We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to join our expanding European operations based in Amsterdam. About the Role
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing electronic components and related materials from a wide network of suppliers. You’ll work closely with internal teams across logistics, sales, and quality to ensure timely, compliant and cost-effective procurement. This role requires strong commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

Source and procure electronic components and materials from approved and new suppliers

Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms and contract conditions

Maintain strong relationships with global suppliers to support business needs

Evaluate and compare supplier quotes to ensure best-value purchasing decisions

Work closely with quality teams to resolve issues related to incoming materials

Track and manage purchase orders, ensuring on-time delivery

Monitor market trends, component availability and industry fluctuations

Collaborate with logistics on shipment planning, customs documentation and import/export requirements

Maintain accurate records in procurement and inventory systems

Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects
What You Bring

Experience in procurement, buying or supply chain—ideally within electronics or technology sectors

Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen

Ability to work confidently with international suppliers and stakeholders

Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage

Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office
