Components Buyer - EMEA

About the Role

Our client is a leading global electronics distributor, supporting customers across Europe, the US and APAC with innovative components and solutions. They are looking for a proactive Buyer to join their procurement team and play a key role in ensuring product availability, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure electronic components across the EMEA region.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and lead times.

• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock, collaborating closely with Sales and Operations.

• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and demand forecasts to inform purchasing decisions.

• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier contracts, and procurement activity.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist, ideally within electronic components

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.

• Knowledge of electronic components and EMEA supply chains is a strong advantage.

• Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP system experience is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple countries.
