About the Role
Our client is a leading global electronics distributor, supporting customers across Europe, the US and APAC with innovative components and solutions. They are looking for a proactive Buyer to join their procurement team and play a key role in ensuring product availability, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities

Source and procure electronic components across the EMEA region.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and lead times.

Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock, collaborating closely with Sales and Operations.

Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and demand forecasts to inform purchasing decisions.

Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier contracts, and procurement activity.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist, ideally within electronic components

Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.

Knowledge of electronic components and EMEA supply chains is a strong advantage.

Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP system experience is a plus.

Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple countries.
