Director of Product Marketing – Semiconductors & Wireless IoT

A fast-growing semiconductor company is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to lead marketing strategy and execution for its next-generation wireless connectivity solutions. This role sits at the intersection of technology, product, and customer engagement—ideal for a strategic marketer with strong technical depth and proven experience in the semiconductor space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies to drive product demand and market expansion.

  • Lead customer, partner, and ecosystem engagement for strategic positioning.

  • Conduct market and competitive research to inform product direction and opportunity mapping.

  • Create high-impact content: datasheets, application notes, white papers, MRDs, PRDs.

  • Contribute to roadmap planning, revenue forecasting, and cross-functional product development.

  • Align closely with sales on major customer relationships and vertical segment strategy.

  • Support marketing communications across digital campaigns, events, and trade shows.

  • Set KPIs and analyze marketing performance to guide decision-making.

  • Travel to headquarters and key customer sites as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years in product marketing or related roles within the semiconductor industry.

  • Deep understanding of wireless connectivity standards, particularly Wi-Fi (802.11).

  • Technical expertise in SoC architectures: CPUs, memory, buses, firmware, crypto, RTOS.

  • Familiarity with broadband and cloud application ecosystems.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.

  • Self-driven and adaptable; thrives in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment.

  • Education: BS in EE or CS required; MS or MBA a plus.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.

  • Valid passport and openness to international travel.
