Distribution Center Manager – EMEA

Location: Munich / Frankfurt, Germany

A global technology manufacturer is seeking a Distribution Center Manager to lead logistics operations across its EMEA warehousing and distribution network. This role oversees end-to-end distribution center performance, transportation, inventory management, compliance, and team leadership to ensure outstanding service to customers across the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for regional distribution centers, ensuring best-in-class cycle time, quality, and cost.

• Drive continuous improvement using KPIs, automation, and modern logistics tools.

• Manage import/export processes, EU customs compliance, and audit-ready documentation.

• Oversee customer delivery performance, resolve operational issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Build and develop a high-performing logistics team, providing coaching and training.

• Manage logistics service providers, transportation lanes, and performance scorecards.

• Maintain strong controls over inventory accuracy, goods movement, and returns processes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

• 5–7 years of experience in warehousing, transportation, or distribution operations in Europe (experience in semiconductor/automotive a plus).

• Strong knowledge of EU logistics regulations, customs processes, and service provider management.

• Fluent in German (C1+) and proficient in English (B2+).

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
