We’re hiring on behalf of an innovative startup pushing boundaries in wearable and IoT hardware. Their proprietary Wi-R chip powers next-gen devices like smartglasses, earbuds, smartwatches, EEG/EMG nodes, smartphones, and smartrings.
 

They’re now looking for a Hardware Engineering Manager to lead the design, implementation, and validation of Wi-R-based reference hardware. You’ll manage a high-performing team, drive technical decisions, and collaborate across software and hardware functions.
 

What you’ll do:

• Lead embedded hardware development from concept to validation

• Manage team performance, growth, and career development

• Oversee project planning, timelines, and resource allocation

• Define and implement efficient hardware development processes

• Make key decisions across PCB, RF, reliability, and hardware-software co-design

What you bring:

• BS in a relevant field with 5+ years in embedded systems design

• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams

• Background in wearable or IoT hardware

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• Experience working closely with software teams on drivers and firmware

Bonus:

• Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM)

• Managing distributed teams and cross-functional collaboration
