Field Application Engineer - Bangalore

We’re seeking a technically driven Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join a fast-growing global distributor within the electronic components and semiconductor sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys bridging technology and customer engagement, combining technical depth with commercial awareness.

In this role, you’ll work closely with customers, sales, and product teams to identify new design opportunities, provide technical guidance, and help turn innovative ideas into production-ready solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Act as the technical interface between customers, suppliers, and internal sales teams.

• Use your knowledge of semiconductors and hardware design to recommend the best solutions for customer applications.

• Support design-in and design-win activities, guiding customers from proof-of-concept through to production.

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and documentation to highlight product capabilities.

• Stay informed on competitive technologies and market trends to provide valuable insight to both customers and internal teams.

• Contribute to technical content creation such as application notes, articles, and product updates.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Communication Engineering.

• 4–6 years’ experience in semiconductor sales support, field applications, or hardware design.

• Practical understanding of circuit design, schematics, and debugging.

• Familiarity with MCUs, FPGAs, and Memory products is advantageous.

• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
