Finance Accountant
Support the growth of a high-impact biopharma start-up
What You’ll Do

Accounting Operations: Take care of day-to-day accounting including data entry, processing purchase invoices, reconciling bank and credit card statements, fixed asset accounting, expense reports, and following up on overdue receivables.

Tax Compliance: Handle monthly VAT filings and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.

Reporting: Prepare clear and timely financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

Purchase Order Oversight: Ensure correct application of the 3-way match principle—linking purchase orders, warehouse receipts, and supplier invoices—to support financial accuracy.

Inbox Management: Monitor and manage the finance mailbox, ensuring timely responses and actions.

Inventory Tracking: Help monitor stock levels, keep records up to date, and participate in regular stock counts.

ERP Support: Assist with improvements and customizations in our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central), ensuring it meets operational needs.

Process Development: Help streamline and document financial and administrative processes to drive efficiency and clarity.

General Administration: Support a variety of daily and end-to-end administrative tasks that keep the business running smoothly.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with administrative teammates and provide backup when needed to ensure continuous and cohesive support across departments.
What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field—or equivalent professional experience.

Minimum of 3 years in a financial or accounting role.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or Navision is a strong plus.

Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., pharma, biotech, or nuclear) is a bonus.

Clear communicator in English and ideally Dutch (French is a plus).
