Hardware Test Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA, United States

We are recruiting on behalf of a cutting-edge semiconductor company developing next-generation wireless technologies for smartphones and smart devices. Their innovations are driving performance, efficiency, and connectivity in the most demanding consumer electronics applications.


They’re looking for a Hardware Test Engineer to join their growing team in Seattle, WA, and play a key role in validating the performance and reliability of advanced RF and mixed-signal hardware.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive hardware test plans for RF, analog, and mixed-signal ICs

  • Design and build test setups, including scripting and automation for lab instrumentation

  • Perform hands-on validation, data collection, and root cause analysis

  • Collaborate with design, systems, and firmware teams to debug and refine hardware performance

  • Support bring-up and characterization of silicon prototypes and pre-production samples

  • Document test results, methodologies, and provide feedback to the design team


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in hardware validation, preferably in the semiconductor or wireless domain

  • Strong hands-on experience with lab tools (oscilloscopes, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, etc.)

  • Proficiency in scripting for test automation (Python, MATLAB, or similar)

  • Familiarity with RF measurements, signal integrity, and board-level debug


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or 5G

  • Background in consumer electronics testing or mass production ramp support

  • Exposure to IC bring-up, ATE development, or validation in a high-volume environment
