Are you an experienced Applications Engineer with a background in power electronics or power semiconductors and looking for your next opportunity?

MRL is currently supporting leading semiconductor businesses across the US and is looking to connect with talented Power Applications Engineers for current and upcoming opportunities.

The Role

As an Applications Engineer, you will provide technical expertise and customer support throughout the design cycle, working closely with customers, sales and engineering teams to develop and optimise power solutions.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing technical and application support to customers

• Supporting power supply and power electronics design

• Reviewing schematics, PCB layouts and system designs

• Advising on component selection and application optimisation

• Troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions

• Conducting customer design reviews and technical presentations

• Supporting sales teams with customer meetings and visits

• Providing technical training and product demonstrations

• Working closely with internal engineering and product teams

About You

We are interested in hearing from engineers with experience in:

• Power electronics / power semiconductors

• AC/DC or DC/DC power conversion

• Switching power supplies

• Power management

• GaN, SiC or silicon technologies

• Motor drives or other power applications

You will ideally have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline, together with hands-on experience in power electronics and strong customer-facing and communication skills.
