Principal Software Security Engineer

Our client is a leading developer of advanced CAE and multiphysics engineering simulation software used in product design, testing, and operation across a range of industries.
 

They are now looking for a Principal Software Security Engineer to lead and shape their security architecture and practices across the software development lifecycle.
 

In this role, you will:

• Define and implement secure coding standards and security best practices

• Lead threat modeling and security reviews for new and existing products

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure security is built in from design to deployment

• Drive vulnerability assessments and coordinate mitigation strategies

• Act as a subject matter expert in application security and mentor other engineers

Requirements:

• Proven experience in software security engineering, ideally in complex software environments

• Strong understanding of secure development principles and tools

• Background in C/C++, Python or similar languages

• Familiarity with CAE or simulation software is a plus

• Fluent in English; French is a bonus but not required
