- Lead technical design sessions, architecture reviews, implementation planning, and solution design.
- Remain hands-on with coding, code reviews, debugging, and production support.
- Partner with Product and Delivery Managers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide technical estimates, identify risks, dependencies, and implementation strategies.
- Review code to ensure quality, maintainability, performance, security, and scalability.
- Mentor and coach engineers through technical guidance, design discussions, and code reviews.
- Lead investigation and resolution of complex production issues and technical escalations.
- Identify technical debt, architectural improvements, and modernization opportunities while maintaining business continuity.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Database teams to support successful software releases.
- Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and best practices across development teams.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- 3+ years in a Technical Lead, Software Architect, Principal Engineer, or similar senior technical role.
- Strong experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale, business-critical software applications.
- Excellent understanding of software architecture, API design, distributed systems, integrations, data modelling, and secure application design.
- Proven ability to lead technical design and implementation without formal line management responsibilities.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across production environments.
- Experience improving legacy applications while balancing business continuity.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, code quality practices, and release management.
- Experience collaborating with Product, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Passion for mentoring engineers and raising technical standards across development teams.
Technical Experience
Experience in several of the following is highly desirable:
- .NET / C#
- SQL Server and relational databases
- REST APIs and enterprise integrations
- JavaScript / TypeScript and modern web frameworks
- PHP and legacy application modernization
- Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Event-driven architectures, messaging systems, and microservices
- Azure DevOps, Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- ERP, finance, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain systems
- Mobile applications, AI/ML, NLP, or computer vision technologies
What You'll Gain
- Opportunity to influence the technical direction of globally used software platforms.
- Work alongside experienced engineering leaders in a collaborative environment.
- Exposure to modern cloud technologies and large-scale enterprise systems.
- Ongoing learning and professional development opportunities.
- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
If you're a hands-on technical leader who enjoys building scalable software, mentoring engineers, and solving complex engineering challenges, we'd love to hear from you.
