We’re seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead a regional team of buyers within a global electronic components business. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, overseeing sourcing and procurement activities that support global sales teams across Asia, Europe, and North America.
You’ll manage supplier relationships, develop your team’s commercial and technical capability, and ensure that purchasing operations deliver world-class performance across quality, cost, and delivery targets. The position also collaborates closely with global peers on strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier development projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of buyers, ensuring smooth execution of all purchasing activities — from order placement and tracking to escalations and documentation control.

Source and qualify new suppliers across the region, working closely with global category and supplier development teams.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent performance, reliability, and adherence to company standards.

Monitor and analyse market trends, pricing, and commodity movements to support business decisions.

Drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes and ensure alignment with internal stakeholders across sales, quality, and operations.

Deliver ongoing coaching and training to the buying team, building deep market and product knowledge.

Support special projects and procurement initiatives as required.
Skills & Experience

7–10 years’ experience in sourcing or purchasing within the electronic components industry (semiconductors, passives, memory, storage, CPUs, etc.).

Strong understanding of the global supply chain — from manufacturers through distributors and independent channels.

4+ years of team leadership experience within a procurement or sourcing environment.

Proven ability to negotiate, influence, and manage supplier relationships at a senior level.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Proficiency with modern business tools and systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, Power BI, ERP platforms).

Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
