RF ASIC System Architect – Montreal, QC

Full-time | Next-Gen Wireless SoC Development | Hybrid Work Model

We’re recruiting on behalf of a pioneering semiconductor company developing cutting-edge UWB wireless SoCs for consumer and IoT applications. As RF ASIC System Architect, you’ll define the architecture of highly integrated wireless chips combining RF transceivers, digital baseband, and embedded MCUs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define system architecture for UWB SoCs, covering RF, baseband, and control

  • Translate product requirements into high-level specifications and algorithms

  • Evaluate architectural trade-offs to optimise performance, area, and power

  • Model and analyse RF system metrics (e.g. SNR, link budget, PER)

  • Collaborate with analog, digital, and validation teams to ensure feasibility

  • Lead system validation efforts and mentor other engineers

What You’ll Bring:

  • 10+ years of RF IC design experience, including 5+ in RF system architecture

  • Strong background in RF circuit concepts and digital signal processing

  • Hands-on experience with ADC/DAC design, mixed-signal integration, and lab validation

  • Proficiency in modelling (Python, C/C++) and industry-standard EDA tools

  • Solid understanding of full ASIC design and validation flow

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

This is a high-impact, senior-level opportunity within a growing and collaborative team. If you're ready to shape the architecture of tomorrow’s wireless systems, we’d like to hear from you.
