Device Physics Engineer – RF PA LDMOS

Location: Netherlands OR France
Type: Full-time | R&D

Are you passionate about semiconductor device physics and want to shape the future of RF Power Amplifier technology? We’re looking for a Device Physics Engineer to join our innovative team developing LDMOS devices for high-performance RF applications.


What You’ll Do

  • Model and simulate LDMOS devices using TCAD tools (Sentaurus, Silvaco)
  • Optimize device architecture for efficiency, ruggedness, and reliability
  • Collaborate with process and RF design teams to meet demanding PA specs
  • Analyze failure mechanisms and propose design improvements
  • Support prototype characterization and correlate with simulations

What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • 3+ years in semiconductor device development (RF power preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of LDMOS physics, TCAD, and high-voltage design
  • Familiarity with RF characterization and reliability analysis

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GaN or other RF power technologies
  • Knowledge of load-pull and S-parameter measurements
