We are recruiting on behalf of a confidential client, a pioneering player in AI and semiconductor IP, a Sales Director to lead strategic growth across the U.S., with a focus on the Bay Area tech ecosystem.
This is a senior leadership role with direct influence on market expansion, customer strategy, and revenue performance. Reporting to the VP of Global Sales, you’ll own key relationships and be expected to close high-value IP deals with leading SoC customers.
What you’ll be doing:

Drive IP licensing sales strategies and deliver measurable revenue growth

Build and manage long-term relationships with top-tier semiconductor customers
-
Own the full sales cycle – from prospecting through to deal closure

Align closely with internal product, marketing, and support teams
-
Track sales metrics, forecast accurately, and identify growth opportunities

Represent the business at major industry events and customer meetings
-
Deliver at least one IP contract in your first 12 months
What we’re looking for:

7+ years of semiconductor or deep tech sales experience

Strong background in IP licensing, contracts, and royalty models

Knowledge of AI technology and the semiconductor ecosystem

Proven record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strategic thinker with hands-on project management experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
