Sales Manager

Responsibilities

Pipeline Development & New Customer Acquisition

• Identify, engage, and secure new OEM customers across wearables, audio, health sensing, IoT, robotics, and industrial automation.

• Lead early-stage outreach, discovery discussions, and product introductions to accelerate new opportunities.

• Build and maintain a robust pipeline covering evaluation, prototyping, design-in, and production phases.

Sales Execution & Design-Win Leadership

• Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial contact through design win and volume deployment.

• Partner with technical teams to support evaluations, development tools, and key engineering milestones.

• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and long-term supply agreements.

• Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and structured account planning.

Customer & Ecosystem Engagement

• Develop strong multi-level relationships across engineering, procurement, product, and executive stakeholders.

• Work with ecosystem partners—including design houses, module vendors, integrators, distributors, and rep networks—to expand customer reach.

• Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and technical conferences.

Market Insight & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Provide customer and competitive insights to support product roadmap decisions and reference design priorities.

• Collaborate with Marketing on messaging, collateral, campaigns, and targeted outreach.

• Contribute to business reviews, revenue planning, and strategic growth initiatives.

 

 

Qualifications

Required

• 5–12 years of experience in semiconductor or embedded-systems sales (SoCs, MCUs, sensors, or AI hardware strongly relevant).

• Demonstrated success in acquiring new OEM accounts and securing design wins.

• Strong understanding of semiconductor sales cycles from evaluation to production.

• Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and collaborate closely with engineering and applications teams.

• Experience managing manufacturers’ reps, distribution partners, or channel ecosystems.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-relationship skills.

• Highly organized with strong planning, forecasting, and CRM discipline.

Preferred

• Background in wearables, IoT, robotics, industrial sensing, audio/voice, or biometrics.

• Familiarity with edge AI, sensor fusion, ultra-low-power chipsets, or embedded machine learning.

• Experience within startup or high-growth semiconductor environments.
