On behalf of a globally operating research center based in Paris, we are looking to appoint two Research Experts to join a dynamic team focused on innovation and standardization in future mobile core networks. This opportunity offers the chance to work at the forefront of technological advancement in a highly international and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
You will contribute to the development of cutting-edge concepts in AI-driven mobile core networks. Your work will involve the integration of AI and communication technologies—exploring how AI can improve networks and how networks can enable AI. Special focus will be placed on the application of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI frameworks in next-generation network architecture.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct advanced research on next generation mobile core networks, with emphasis on AI integration

Lead the exploration of new network architectures, applications, and solutions powered by AI, particularly LLMs

Contribute to the development of technical standards and support standardization efforts

Implement prototypes and proof-of-concept systems for AI-driven core network technologies
Required Qualifications

Master’s or PhD (preferred) in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in AI-related research, ideally with focus on LLMs
-
Solid understanding of mobile network communications

Familiarity with standardization bodies such as 3GPP SA1/2, SNS JU, Networld Europe (a plus)

Proficient in Python
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills in English
