We are recruiting on behalf of a leading data centre construction specialist, who is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dublin. This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced environment, supporting the delivery of complex, large-scale projects for international clients.

The successful candidate will play a key role in commercial management across the full project lifecycle—from cost planning and procurement to final accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cost planning, forecasting, and control for major data centre projects

  • Prepare tender documentation, evaluate bids, and negotiate with contractors and suppliers

  • Monitor project budgets and commercial performance, identifying risks and opportunities

  • Lead on contract administration and change management

  • Liaise with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure commercial alignment

  • Mentor junior QS staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in quantity surveying, ideally in data centre, industrial, or high-tech construction

  • In-depth knowledge of Irish construction law, contract forms (e.g. NEC, FIDIC), and procurement practices

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills

  • Proven experience in managing high-value project costs

  • Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management

  • Chartered status (or working towards it) is preferred

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

This is a great opportunity to join a high-growth sector with long-term project pipelines and international exposure. If you're ready to lead from the front in one of Europe’s key data centre markets, we’d like to hear from you.
