We're supporting an international technology business as they continue to expand their specialist RF engineering capability.

They're looking for an experienced RF Design Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team responsible for supporting advanced electronic products from development through to customer implementation.

This position would suit someone who enjoys solving technically demanding engineering problems, working closely with customers and helping shape future product development within a highly innovative environment.

About the Position

This is a varied engineering role where no two projects are the same.

You'll spend your time designing and evaluating RF hardware, investigating technical challenges, supporting customer applications and working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure products perform successfully in demanding environments.

The role combines hands-on laboratory work with technical consultancy, giving you the opportunity to influence both engineering development and customer success.

Responsibilities

Engineering & Product Development

• Design, build and evaluate RF electronic circuits for a variety of applications.

• Validate hardware performance through simulation, laboratory testing and engineering analysis.

• Optimise designs for performance, efficiency and reliability.

• Support prototype development and product evaluation activities.

• Produce clear technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.

Customer Support

• Work directly with engineering teams to understand technical requirements.

• Provide expert guidance during product integration and evaluation.

• Investigate complex application issues and recommend practical engineering solutions.

• Support customers through design reviews, testing activities and technical discussions.

Innovation

• Monitor emerging technologies and industry developments.

• Contribute ideas for future product improvements and new engineering solutions.

• Support internal knowledge sharing and continuous technical development.

• Collaborate with engineering colleagues across multiple international locations.

About You

You'll be an experienced RF Engineer with a strong analytical mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for solving challenging technical problems.

You'll likely bring:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience designing and testing RF electronic hardware.

• Strong understanding of analogue and RF circuit behaviour.

• Experience using simulation tools and laboratory test equipment.

• Confidence troubleshooting complex hardware issues.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with both customers and engineering teams.
