Senior Transformation & Program Manager Contract – Digital Strategy (Public Sector)

We are seeking a senior program leader to drive the implementation of a digital transformation for a Government Body. You will take overall responsibility for a large, multi-stream transformation program covering both business change and technology enablement, including platforms such as Microsoft 365 and AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end program, including roadmap, governance, resources, and delivery

• Coordinate parallel business and technology initiatives

• Establish program structures, reporting, and steering forums

• Drive change management for new processes and digital ways of working

• Ensure secure and value-driven adoption of digital platforms

• Manage risks, dependencies, and senior stakeholders in a complex public-sector environment

Profile

• 10+ years’ experience leading large, complex transformation programs

• Strong background in public administration and digitalization initiatives

• Proven ability to translate strategy into structured implementation and measurable outcomes

• Experience working with senior government stakeholders

• Fluent in Swedish, written and spoken

• Relevant academic degree or equivalent experience

This is a contract position starting at 12 months, likely to extend.

This role requires a strategic, structured leader with strong execution capability and credibility at senior levels.
