We’re looking for a System Engineering Manager to lead the system architecture and development of our next-generation isolated gate drivers.
As System Engineering Manager, you will define and oversee the system-level design of isolated gate drivers that deliver performance, safety, and reliability across high-voltage, high-efficiency applications. You’ll lead a skilled team of engineers and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver robust solutions aligned with industry standards and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
-
Own the system architecture and definition for isolated gate driver ICs targeting EV powertrains, solar inverters, and high-power datacenter converters
-
Lead and mentor a team of system engineers through concept, design, and validation phases
-
Translate customer and application needs into system and IC-level specifications
-
Drive modeling, simulation, and optimization of key performance metrics: CMTI, propagation delay, protection features, isolation strength, thermal and EMI performance
-
Coordinate with design, packaging, test, and safety teams to ensure functional and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 60747, UL 1577)
-
Act as a technical contact for customers and support design-in activities with field engineering teams
Qualifications
-
MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related discipline
-
8+ years of experience in system or IC development for power electronics; at least 2 years in a technical leadership or management role
-
Strong technical knowledge of gate driver architectures, isolated signaling, and power switching technologies (IGBT, SiC, GaN)
-
Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, Saber) and system validation methods
-
Familiarity with safety and compliance standards for automotive, industrial, and datacenter applications
-
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
