Our client, a global high-tech innovator at the forefront of advanced electronics manufacturing, is seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President to lead one of their business lines.
This is a rare opportunity to join an established market leader whose systems support major industrial sectors including data centers, aerospace & defense, medical, microwave & RF, and 5G wireless. The organisation has built its reputation over decades through innovation, technical excellence, and the consistent launch of new products and derivatives that drive customer performance.
We are recruiting on behalf of this client for a senior leader who will shape strategy, drive growth, and deliver operational excellence in a dynamic and innovation-focused environment.

Position Overview

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan aligned with corporate objectives and market opportunities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments to drive sustainable growth
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to maintain competitive advantage
  • Lead the development and launch of new products, services, and sales initiatives
  • Expand engagement with existing customers to maximise revenue performance
P&L Ownership & Financial Management
  • Full ownership of the business line’s profit and loss performance
  • Lead revenue growth, cost management, and profitability targets
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Implement initiatives to optimise operational efficiency and financial performance
Operational Excellence
  • Oversee all operational aspects to ensure efficient workflow, quality delivery, and customer satisfaction
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure performance and drive accountability
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across functions
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and company policies
Team Leadership & Development
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning
  • Provide clear direction, performance feedback, and career development opportunities
  • Promote employee engagement and an inclusive working environment
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary business line representative to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Develop strong relationships with key clients and external partners
  • Represent the business at industry events and conferences
Key Requirements
  • Proven senior leadership experience, ideally within advanced manufacturing, electronics, microelectronics, optoelectronics, or related technology sectors
  • Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of financial management and market dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective business strategies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and complex problem-solving capability
  • Decisive leadership style, particularly in high-pressure environments
