Is there another option to working in London? What about a recruitment job in Brighton? Unless you’ve been hidden under a rock for the past year, you’ll be all too familiar with the ongoing issues affecting users of Southern Rail. Commuters have not only had to contend with strike action, but they also have to pay astronomical fares when using the service (even if it isn’t running!).
But times they are a-changing, candidates have simply had enough and rightly so! We are see an increasing amount of candidates now looking at employers to offer the same benefits and career progression opportunities of those in the capital. Recruitment jobs in Brighton now offer that kind of opportunity, and here at MRL we have seen this first-hand with one of our newest recruits – principal consultant, Jack Emmingham. Prior to working with us Jack spent six and a half years working in London commuting up to an hour and a half each way, and paying £4,800 for the pleasure. Click on the infographic below to see what it can do to your health and well-being.
Luckily for Jack (and us!) he now enjoys a much more favourable journey time and is saving huge amounts in train fares.
“I now enjoy a substantially reduced journey and, while I still get the train, I always get a seat, I have more disposable income thanks to a much cheaper journey, and I arrive feeling relaxed and ready for the day ahead.”
If, like Jack, you’re fed up with commuting into London and are looking for a job in Brighton you’ll be pleased to know that we are hiring. So if you’re someone that has the confidence and resilience to succeed in the fast paced and highly competitive world of recruitment we ought to be talking. We offer generous basic salaries, industry-beating commission schemes and a generous pension. But it’s not all about money, we take an active interest in the wellbeing of our team. We offer plenty of non-monetary incentives including flexi time, a day off for your birthday (and of course cake!), private healthcare for you and your family, the opportunity to earn a Rolex, fresh fruit daily, and a paid sabbatical after five years’ service.
So if this all sounds appealing, quit the commute and come and work in Brighton. We can’t promise year round sunshine but with offices very near the sea and a great bunch of people, we certainly believe it beats the rat race of working in the Capital. We’re looking for:
